Gordon Ramsay in Hells Kitchen Season 6 June 21 PDF Print E-mail
Written by Mel Siff
While it seems like the dust has only just settled on the set of Hell’s Kitchen - Fox is cranking out Gordon Ramsay again next month, in season six of the hit television show. This series, I believe was filmed at the start of this year (and another shot straight after it) and will appear on US Television on July 21. This, by my calculations, makes it a Tuesday night instead of the normal Thursday night - I’m unsure of what this means in terms of ratings - but I’m sure the tabloids will report it as a decrease in Gordon Ramsay’s popularity!

First prize this year is a job at Araxi Restaurant in Whistler, British Columbia, Canada, a location that Gordon Ramsay said in interviews earlier this year that he wanted to open his own establishment. This isn’t a new restuarant, it opened in 1981 and is already an established dining location at the base of Blackcomb and Whistler peaks. The job will commence in time for the 2010 Winter Olympics to be held in Canada and thus will increase their workload and exposure, under the supervision of Executive Chef James Walt.

This season will have the standard format of 16 competitiors, boys vs girls format, but we are told the initial signature dish competition will be a team challenge - a surefire way to provide even more fireworks amongst a group of competitive professionals who have just met and are trying to stand out!

Get Paid To Draw PDF Print E-mail

For many people the idea of doing something they love and getting paid for it is just a dream.A lot of people have a hidden talent that for some reason never materialises. How often do you hear people talking about a subject they seem to know an awful lot about, have a passion for,but never seem to do anything about it.You find most of these people settle for making this passion just a hobby or pastime.
When I was younger I would quiet often be found`doodling` on a piece of paper, not really trying too hard, just drawing what came to mind, sometimes your thoughts and emotions would dictate what was going onto the paper,it was a way of releasing those thoughts and emotions.Even though I took Art at school and was told many times that I had talent,it was just something that I didn`t take seriously and eventually moved on to more promising things like girls and earning a living. One thing that I can say at this point though is that right up until reaching middle age,the interest never left me,I don`t think it ever will.
A problem we face in todays modern world is that everybody is in a hurry,we seem to want to live our lives at 90 miles per hour, only pausing for a bit of sleep,or something to eat,we put on the back boiler, other things that could be very important to us.Isn`t this strange when you realise that one of the first things we are taught to do at kindergarden is draw.Your teacher would ask you to think of a subject and invariably you draw Dad or the family dog as you see them, through infant eyes.
